You see that title? I clicked on the subject field and it lists your most recent titles to, say, anything: personal messages, bulletin posts, this, etc. What the hell was I talking about? I'm so jealous of that awesome subject field. It always gets to be the most intriguing, while the rest of the is watered down in comparison to my wacky, sometimes unrelated titles. <--- I n3rded out just there... (haha, I wrote code and it actually translated)
If the title bores, I'm sure the article gets scanned over. And how about those karma whores on reddit and digg? I bet they're experts at the catchy title thing-a-ma-jig.
But mostly, I miss Jason Jones. I miss love. I've really missed out. But mostly, I have known this the whole time that we've been separated. I'm not just realizing it now. I remember writing about how my tears smelled of gingerbread when they were over him, and only him.
He flies me up every 3 months, and tells me how much he loves me. He told all of his Chicago friends that he wanted to marry me while I was there. Words are limited in relation to how I felt or feel when I think about those moments. And p.s. - I get to see him before the end of this month <3 (^_^)

“Maibe, I‘m glad to see you like the outdoors. Would you like me to get you anything?”
Her dismissal of his conversation stills Peter. He pauses with concern, and then timidly approaches the little girl, lowers his head, reaches for her shoulder but recoils from the gesture. He doesn’t want to alarm her of his worry by expressing affection.
“Honey, what has your attention?”
Still unresponsive, he decides to sit down next to her on the threshold of the sliding glass door, and scans the area in which Maibe is directing her gaze.
“Do you see it?” she inquires “I see many things, but since this backyard looks as usual as any, what you refer to as ‘it’ is merely subjective, my dear. Try not to hold it against me, but do show me, I‘d love to watch with you.”
Maibe lets out a giggle at her new friend’s nervous reasoning. ( Read more... )

The days that deserve to be recorded are sacrificed to my unforgiving drunken sleep, only to be butchered by morning; while the idle days somehow get journaled. No wonder my life looks so frivolous when I review my livejournal calendar.
"I need something that i can feel Cigarettes and a driving wheel"
Sometimes I'll be still for 10 minutes reflecting on my life and I'll file through my friends and encounter the same sad realization. I haven't one person that I would feel confident in actively seeking their advice. Who do I admire among my friends, find rational and perceptive enough to take on the challenge? And if few of you stimulate me intellectually, what hope do you have in providing direction?

| 11 days until I am relieved of the Fall semester |
[20 Nov 2006|09:18am] |
Visualize Mt. Fuji. I'd say Everest, but I'm miserably failing at not exaggerating. Then picture a goofy elephant infant that was born in captivity standing at the mountain's brim. He's like any other fat baby: flat footed, gripless, and with a figure most women would blame on chips, soda and 5 pizzas a day. Being born in captivity, its achieved little in life except walk in the confines of the zoo's circular habitat, shit and sleep. Now here is where flightless Dumbo is realized. For me to finish these 11 days without any stress would involve said fat elephant to reach the pinnacle of the Mt. Fuji in one piece and without the help of poachers, air lifts or the power rangers.
So wish me luck and the elephant might survive.

Okay so it has been exactly a week since classes first commenced for Fall term, and although I had to gamble with my schedule to drop my much anticipated Chinese Cinema class, I now have a miserable 4 hour break every T/TH and another 3 hour wait the remaining part of the 5-day school week. It's equivalent to waiting in line for space mountain, twice, but don't pity me yet because I discovered a language lab where I just watch recorded programs on a universal Japanese television program. The show I like watching is reminiscent of Sesame street, but with fewer puppets, and lots of really cute children running around speaking easy words for me to understand and mimic quietly in my exaggerated theater voice. I also have a few other options such as an old-fashioned period soap opera, and a news broadcast updated everyday to entertain/bore my friends with over the weekends. This is an activity I like sharing with my new friend, Adam, who is a year ahead of me in Japanese and wears some of the coolest *bling* ever seen on a jewish boy wearing denim carpenter shorts. Usually I avoid such a combo, but he radiates, and I feel glamorous just walking beside him. The fashionisto jew and the clashing Chinese girl majoring in Japanese, what a team.

I never knew the day would come where it would just be me, myself, and my tamagotchi, Burger. Jason left not more than 6 hours ago for Best Friends Fest in Richmond, Virginia, and already Burger has aged an undisciplined and chunky two years, mostly from spontaneous boredom feedings. Yes, and for you tamagotchi fanatics, I know! I will p.c. this muther fucker, and say that yes, after two years he is technically no longer a tamagotchi, and rather a marutchi. I apologize for those of you reading, I bet you never expected to learn that today, but for equal measure, did you know that the sun always rises in the East and sets in the West, and that because of this many anicent structures face East? No, really, I shock myself too sometimes. Who knows what sort of fascinating trivia was just compensated to heave way for my tamagotchi terminology, but luckily I redeemed myself, and your thorough knowledge of television, basic mathematics, music, and food can rest assured.
I start school in less than a week, and I'm more excited than a pair of spastic dragonfly wings. An accurate description if I may say so myself, and to cure anyone's possible pains of curiosity, my much anticipated schedule consists of: Beginning Japanese 1 (a language course) Chinese cinema Japanese culture Intro to teaching English as a second language and Modern Japanese History.
I think this calls for an "ughhhh, *dies*" x 1000!

I went to Disney world over the weekend, and the night before our animal kingdom adventure we stayed at the French Quarter, a resort within a 5 minute radius to all parks. They boasted 2 pools, and one with a dragon slide and waterfalls. So, after killing 5 dollars at a wacky arcade that makes you use plastic debit cards, we suited up for a casual swim around night fall only to have the life guards stare at my tits and hover suspiciously along the pool edge hoping to catch a revealing glimpse down my top. I suppose I was the only young adult there, since the next female closest to my age was 8, and then 40, but it still isn't a good enough excuse. Especially since there was an army of boys in Hawaiian gear making the hot tub a radioactive-looking yellow. I just hope that poor old-man resting in it as I was leaving didn't get an infection.
Then, after the park I drove home and was restless all night having left my favorite pillow in the Louisiana district of Disney, and woke up at an un-welcomed 10 AM. I played shut eye until 11, and tried to revive myself with a shower a quarter after, but when you're tired, wet, and alone in your apartment with nothing to get dressed for, do you get dressed? no. So as I was watching TV with my towel uncoiling I heard the lawn service's buzzing from outside the sliding glass doors. It isn't uncommon to hear them about 6 feet away from your window, but not close enough to cause a vibration throughout the apartment. As I swung my head portside I discovered a 5 foot, half balding late 20-year-old man with a 2 foot pony tail peering through the crack in the venetian blinds. You know, the one blind that never follows the others. If you haven't already figured it out, he was a PEEPING TOM. What is next? And why did the culprit have to fit the stereotypical profile of a pervert? Ungodly ugly, poor, and desperate. just my luck.

Yesterday I tried to outbid a girl on the gainesville community because the post said OBO, and then today I wake up to my journal deleted along will all of my friends when I reactivated the account. I wonder if these two events are related, and whether or not the hacker commented in anyone's journal.

[22 Jul 2006|06:55pm] |
I have already begun my Japanese lessons and have learned all of the hiragana aka the Japanese alphabet! I know how to write and identify it which means that when I see it combined I can pronounce it! I feel so empowered by taking the time to learn it, and now all i have to do is focus on grammar and the katakana. I really recommend everyone learning a non-germanic language.
brain massaaaaaaaaaaage!
I can't wait to start lessons in the Fall! wish me luck<3

| scattergories' reign over keggers is unsurpassed |
[21 May 2006|04:16pm] |
let me re-cap a certain moment of last night that i know everyone encountered. Setting: Sweaty Kitchen Why: Impatiently waiting for the keg to be tapped Result: A backlash of anger from the keg supervisors, a wet shoulder from your neighbor, and haha an empty cup.
I think i was the only one clever enough to assemble a fan to cool myself, and i'm not sure if he noticed me, but i did slip a beer cap down the shirtless boy's boxer shorts when he decided to give me a show and deliver me a wet shoulder. I am so pleased to have witnessed the moments celebrating the official break for summer, and their impact on the future these next 10 weeks will behold for Sarasota's youth collective. I still cannot say whether or not Sarasota is cursed or blessed, but either way will people never change? Some i hope not, some... could use it. haha i know! i'm so bad! oooh shush.
I sincerely hope this doesn't anger anyone, but after last night's safari ride, I just think Gainesville is more suited to fit my age and maturity at this point. And I hope I don't appear ungrateful because I am extremely appreciative of the invitation, afterall, I did somewhat enjoy myself. Best of luck everyone!

i had a dream last night that i performed surgery on my fish and saved his life. This whole time during this amazing dream, jason was trying to wake me up and take him to school. Psh, i told him to drive the van and gave him gas money so it wouldn't stall out and it turns out that it stalled out and he dind't make it to school, but knowing him i bet he didn't bother on the gas. On a side note, I only go TR, and last semester i went everyday and he only went 3 days a week and when i would ask him to come with me, he would not. But either way, i still feel really bad about all of it, but i'm so glad i got to save my fish's life! what's more important people?! lives or rides?

yesterday i rode a giant bike and ate a vegan brunch at New Leaf. I've gone to the shittest show i've ever spent money for, suffered the cold, and have seen a grown man with lots of tattoos because he must be so "hardcore" be carried around like a baby as he threw up everywhere. I've partied, seen brett newstead keg stand, clicked my heels and been to the flea market. We all bought air soft guns which aren't soft when they hit you and have welts all over my back from being shot at from everyone and vice versa. I've ridden a tandem bike which is for 2 people and was completely freaked from it because it is really wobbly and hard to adjust to, yet received a handfull of aw's and "i wish i had my camera"'s, hated tally, fell in love with it and hated it again. i unexpectedly slept in a bed instead of the floor during the night, left early, and discovered the yum of granola.
thank you tally & brett newstead. the revival of fun times! mantis crew
